A surfing star talks seawater and skin
Jane’s special guests today are surfing sensation Coco Ho and renowned dermatologist Dr. Annabelle Garcia. Coco is the scion of legendary surfing royalty. Indeed, her father, pro surfing pioneer Michael Ho, is considered the godfather of the North Shore surf scene on Oahu. Living up to her legacy, Coco qualified for the World Surf League Women’s World Tour at age 17, the youngest woman ever to do so. Since then, she has consistently continued to build on what is now already an award-studded surf career to the point where Coco has repeatedly been voted as a top fan favorite in Surfer Magazine’s Surfer Poll. On this segment, Coco will talk not only about her lifestyle program, but also how she tries to inspire others to break through barriers and pursue their passions in an effort to become more competent, courageous and confident. To that end, Coco shares with us her personal challenge in dealing with eczema which, of course, is exacerbated by her constant environment of sun and salt water. She also discusses her partnership, along with Dr. Garcia, with Pharma giants Sanofi and Regeneron’s The Now Me: Beach Mode. This program is designed to help empower people with moderate-to-severe eczema to feel comfortable with their own skin. Listeners will be informed and inspired to look and feel Better Than Before.
