Speaking with Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk
Jane’s guest today is Bobby Berk, the popular design pro on Netflix’s Queer Eye. But starring on a hugely successful TV show, in which he transforms people’s lives, is not all this mega talent does. Off camera, he is a best-selling author and runs a full-service interior design business with his own line of wallpaper, furniture, rugs and art. On today’s segment, Bobby tells Jane about he how he moved to New York City from the Midwest at a young age with only a few dollars in his pocket and a vision. He talks about how he turned this vision into a reality by never taking “No” for an answer, how he learned to “fake it till you make it,” and his favorite part of working on Queer Eye. Additionally, he shares his DIY ideas for quick interior updates, how to create a comfy, peaceful area in a small space, and what trendy pieces, as well as timeless classics, in which to invest. Being that eco-conscious Bobby is known supporter of using renewable materials, he also explains why he has teamed up with Sensodyne to introduce Nourish, the first major toothpaste using recyclable tubes and cartons (and the latest launch from the #1 Dentist-recommended sensitive toothpaste brand). Bobby also divulges his oral care program, along with some of his personal beauty, health and well-being tips and tools for looking and feeling Better Than Before. Bobbyberk.com and @Bobby.
